Good thing? Ontario Canada is they are really turning things around for men as we speak. In fact family law is being changed for the family not just for the female of a family. Women shelters have been shut down and family shelters are opening. Canada is saying NO the feminist and saying YES to families. Even as we speak laws are being changed for the family as a hole and the sided cash cow divorce is on it's way out.
@musaenda06?
Moron.
@CCRider100
I? think you know the answer to that :)
@standingpretty
The Missing The Point Trophy for? 2011 goes to you. Sheesh.
It's actually refreshing to see this issue mentioned on a mainstream news programme and without the usual feminist bullshit. I also noticed that when that woman was asked "If I could pay a woman less why would I hire a man?" she gave a non-answer, does she have any proof that companies prefer to employ men? Of course not, she's? a typical lying feminist charlatan.
Look at? that pathetic manginas desperate for some pussy.
The simple point is this. If you can? pay a woman less for the same work as a man. Then why would you employ any men? A business is at the end of the day about profit.
@videodads? Excellent point. Shame that so many people think having the same job title somehow implies the output was equal.
@CCRider100 My? step-mother did.
@belolacove Wrong, Martha herself stated same job title & experience - nothing she said implied same hours. From experience I can tell you that the women in my last job worked less hours (most would stop by 5pm whereas most men would continue? until 8pm). So if I'm working 3hrs longer per day - why should I expect to be paid LESS than a woman if she is doing LESS hours?
The claim is that women make less money than men per hour when doing the same job, and Stossel responds that men are more willing? to take jobs that involve longer hours and tougher conditions. The second statement in no way discounts the first.
Why do people take this guy seriously?
There is a pay gap because men are competitive, resourceful and ambitious, and these traits are solely a masculine traits, very few women will display these traits. The pay gap thing exists because radical feminists have brainwashed women with the notion that men are " Clowns" that are not capable of working better them, but all this is swept up? by the harsh reality that tells women other wise, and women cannot accept this emotionally. F you feminism for messing with women's heads.
Let's also not forget that equal experience and education does not always mean the output will be equal. That is why men earn more than women, on average.
John and Jane Doe both? work as Patent attorneys. They both have equal educations and experience. John has won 50 out of 60 cases, while Jane has only won 30 out of 60 cases. As a result, John earns more money than Jane. Is that discrimination? Not in the least.
Don't assume all pay gaps are based on discrimination. Examine further.
@standingpretty Ive not yet seen once in where? I live in "Women work the same hours, same job as men and earn less than men" not even once yet.
Feminism has never been about equality.?
Feminists seek equal (or more) pay for LESS HOURS AT EASIER JOBS.?
This was actually broadcasted?? WOW.
The pay gap 'issue' is a political? one. It is used by politicians to get the women's vote simple as that.
Let's face facts, of that? dollar a man brings home, 75 cents goes to the wife and kids.
@AngryIntellectual ? I have. :)
@standingpretty
They avoided it because the question itself is a farce. The Wage Gape myth started because of a statistic that compared the annual salary of men and women, and women made on average 30 cents less for every dollar men made. It was never for the same job, but it was an average of how much made by both genders, regardless of what jobs they worked. Yet no one has EVER mentioned that flaw in? the study's methodology for ages.
@standingpretty
Except single women, without children, under the age of 30, tend to make 17% more *at the same job* than men of the same disposition. Also, @4:16: women tend to prioritize flexibility; when you consider the classical structure of the nuclear? family, where the mother is more likely to prioritize picking up the kids after school, the father works more to cover the family's wage needs.
That leads to many men having more experience on the job, and earning more. Listen.
I find it funny how they keep bringing up how men take jobs with bigger risks, commutes, and responabilities when the actual discussion this was all stemmed from was "why do men make more in the same job position than women/". Well DUH if men take on tougher jobs they're going to make more but what about the original topic of why men and women working the same exact job having a difference in wages? Does 3 hours make a difference? Why did they avoid? the original topic?
