Universal Music Corp., 572 F.Supp.2d 1150, 1154-55 (ND Cal. 2008)) is not considered a pattern of abuse worthy of the sanctions youtube states that it would implement in the case of abuse. In essence youtube has just demonstrated that they are unwilling to take action against even flagrant abuse of the DMCA and the sanction they threaten, of termination of the account, is one that youtube is either too apathetic or too unwilling to enact. |
