This is a test video I created. The Broadcast camcorder you see in the video is a Sony DSR-450WSP with a Nnovia QC-HD recorder. I replaced the HDD for an SSD to make the unit completely solid state. I'm in the test phase and everything is looking great. This clip is recorded with the Sony HVR-Z5e om full HD 1080 HDV. It is renderd in AVCHD 1920*1080 25Progressive.

Here's a video for a Sony DVCAM camera currently on sale on ebay. Bidding goes live at 19:15 hrs GMT (or thereabouts) on Sunday 13th Feb 2011. Ebay item number: 190501699123 This is a PAL camera taking the large blue DVCAM tapes. All is OK except for an intermittent onboard mic fault -- sometimes it's fine, sometimes there's fuzzy interference. Never been an issue for me as I turn the rec level down or use my sennheiser mics instead. Camera DOES NOT come with any batteries or power adaptor. Just a lead to connect it to a Sony adaptor. Simple reason is I need the power accessories for my Sony V1 HDV camera. Item will also some with Soft carry bag, battery pod, user manual and some new DVCAM tapes to get your started. On a personal note I've been wanting to sell this for ages, but every time I think about listing on ebay I realise what a lovely camera it is, and decide to hold on to it. However, the simple truth is I never use it, haven't done so since 2006 (!) and can't justify keeping a camera I don't use anymore. Hope it goes to someone who will appreciate a fine camera! Watch this space, will let you all know when it's listed on ebay.

Full video from the DV tape, Very hard to see on small screen..Gold Coast Caught on video set up after much noise and item movement in our bathroom...Watch the top right cnr above the cabinet in both vids...The cam is pointing to the cabinet and the partial image is seen in the mirror reflectionabove the sink..So it appears that the thing was above the camera .Camera was aimed towards the cacinet and mirror as the drawers kept opening and that is what i intended to film..But what i did film in the reflection was freaky..Then the towel on a towel rack on the wall reacts..We had also witnessed items moved,thrown,dissapearing,reappearing elswhere and numerous times seen a white round light fly around and through the walls..Also saw it look like a firework explosion of sparks in front of our curtain..We at times would see a black mass shaped like a thick stick come out from behind the tv and return ....A shadow walking from bathroom to bedroom often seen..I have been woken at night to a tapping on my arm..And for the first time in my life i had the most bloodthirsty and violent nightmares...It liked to put our clothes into a pile on the floor and would push mine on my rack to one end....Finally we just straight out asked it if it wants us to leave just tell us ..I said bang on the wall like you always do and "bang" it happened...We took that as the last straw and moved out of our home...Since moving not 1 nightmare..I don't know what it is but it moves toward the towel rack <b>...</b>

Here I've upgraded my get61883 code with a MUI gui and a vlayer display. I've integrated also FFMPEG DV decoder. So what your're watching in this video is a realtime decoding and displaying of the firewire DV stream from my DV cam. And for sure: Helios FW stack powered ;-)
